Bathroom Stand / Pipework Series

Designed to challenge our perception of the industrial landscape, the Pipe Work Series plays with the raw visual qualities of exposed pipes found in built environments. These distinctive designs offer an inventive alternative to conventional choices, created from materials that show a combination of purpose and humour.

Bull Dog Easy Chair

Created in collaboration with surface designer Sharon Bishop and product designer Charlotte Tangye. The project was part funded by the Arts Council and supported by Autonomatic at University College Falmouth.

The concept was to produce a range of upholstered furniture that run striking illustrations from textile onto wood surfaces. The easy chair used a combination of CNC Routing, Digital Jacquard Loom and Digital Embroidery to create a piece that merges digital manufacture with hand drawn imagery.

Chair/Table

An occasional table that cleverly combines two functions. The chair, laid on its side, forms the table base, but then the top is removed, the chair becomes a seporate piece of furniture. This multifunctional design links two closely related objects and presents them in an entirely new context.

Hall Stand / Pipework Series

Designed to challenge our perception of the industrial landscape, Hall Stand plays with the raw visual qualities of exposed pipe work. Made up of three functional products, this design offers an inventive and unique alternative to the conventional hall stand, displaying a combination of purpose and humour.

Slot Shelves

Slot Shelves contain various sized compartments to create a highly functional and visually striking piece of storage furniture. Inspired by the 1950s shadowbox, Slot Shelves are constructed using a simple slotting system and comes in flat pack.
